Born in 1981 in Zhangzhou city of Fujian province, China.
Education
2002-2006 Studied under Professor Zhang Minjie (born in 1959, established contemporary printmaker, important artist of Chinese contemporary graphic art) in the Printmaking Department at CNAFA (Chinese National Academy of Fine Arts).
Occupation
Independant artist in beijin city, China.
Artistic Pursuits
Artists should be regarded as philosophers in the sense that artworks are the reflections of one’s philosophy at each stage of life, through which the audience interacts with the artistic idea by the author, making artworks worthy of its value.
My speciality is in the print on woodblock (Chinese traditional woodcuts). My passion for this medium is so devoted that I always have the impulse of discovering the beauty of woodblock print and expressing my feeling in the language that only wood can understand.
